Authorities in Buckley, near Geelong, responded to a disturbing incident on Saturday afternoon.

The woman’s body was found in a bin along Mt Pollock Rd around noon.

Police have labeled the woman’s death as suspicious, leading to the setup of a crime scene in the vicinity.

Consequently, Mount Pollock Rd, situated just south of the Princes Hwy, has been sealed off by the police.

Access to the gravel road has been restricted since approximately 12:30 pm, with multiple police vehicles positioned there.

The road, flanked by farmland, remains closed as officers delve into the circumstances.

At the location, positioned between the Princes Hwy and Buckley School Rd, authorities are focusing their efforts along the fence line.

Sources indicate that detectives from the Homicide Squad in Melbourne are en route to lend support to the investigation.

Additionally, a second crime scene has been established at a residential address on Mirka Way in Point Cook, believed to be linked to the deceased woman found in Buckley.
