Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the theft of two motor vehicles that occurred in Corio on Wednesday, November 1.

According to authorities, the stolen cars were allegedly used in an aggravated burglary that took place on Sandringham Parade in Newtown earlier on the same day.

Subsequently, with the support of the Air Wing, the vehicles were successfully recovered from two different locations: one from a property on English Court and the other from a premises on Gellibrand Street, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

At present, a 29-year-old man from Corio and a 29-year-old woman from Norlane are cooperating with law enforcement as they conduct their inquiries.
