Emergency services responded to a two-car collision on Robb Avenue in Hamlyn Heights at 4:39 pm.
One car rolled over upon impact, and a female occupant became trapped.
FRV and SES worked quickly to free the driver, who was later transferred to Geelong Hospital.
Police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident.
