Police are investigating a fatal collision in Moriac that resulted in the deaths of two men last night.
Emergency services responded to a head-on collision on Cape Otway Road, between Mount Duneed and Ervins roads, around 8:40 pm on Monday, July 8.
The driver and sole occupant of each vehicle, a 23-year-old from Moriac and a 59-year-old from Winchelsea, died at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when one veered onto the wrong side of the road.
Geelong Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
