Ambulance Victoria and Police responded to a pedestrian accident on Plume St in Norlane at 6:30 pm.
A man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run collision and was airlifted to Alfred Hospital.
The incident occurred when a car with false plates collided with a pedestrian, believed to be in his 50s, who is currently hospitalized with serious injuries.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
