Emergency personnel responded to a car accident at the intersection of Ballan Rd and Robbs RD in Lovely Banks today at 10:05 am.
Initial reports indicated that one person was trapped, but by the time the units arrived, all individuals had been successfully extricated from the vehicles.
Paramedics provided medical treatment to one person, who was later transported to Geelong University Hospital.
Their condition is now stable.
Police authorities are set to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Traffic on Ballan Rd will be temporarily blocked at the intersection while crews work to clean up the scene.
