At 12:30 pm, emergency services responded to a three-car accident at the intersection of Colac Rd and Pioneer Rd in Grovedale.
Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle overturned. Paramedics provided immediate care to four individuals, conducting assessments on-site.
Two of them were subsequently transported to Geelong University Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
The process of clearing the scene, involving police and tow truck recovery teams, took some time, causing traffic delays.
Police are launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
