FRV teams responded to an emergency at a pizza eatery situated along Princes Hwy in Corio, approximately at 11:20pm yesterday.
Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls had alerted authorities to flames being observed through the establishment’s roof.
Upon arrival, firefighting crews managed to enter the establishment and identified a fire originating within one of the rooms.
This fire had subsequently extended to the overhead ceiling area.
The incident is now under investigation by Victoria Police.
