Police are investigating after a 22-year-old woman was found with serious head injuries on a footpath in Grovedale on Monday, December 30.
The woman was discovered unresponsive on Birkenhead Drive around 1:45 pm.
Emergency services airlifted her to The Alfred Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
At this stage, police do not consider the incident suspicious.
