Authorities are looking into an incident where a car collided with a cyclist in Belmont on January 5th.
The incident is reported to have occurred around 2:50 pm at the junction of Belle Vue Avenue and Helena Street.
A male cyclist, believed to be in his 70s, was transported to The Alfred Hospital in serious condition, suffering from injuries to both the upper and lower body.
The car’s driver remained at the scene, and investigators are actively determining the exact cause of the collision.
