Bannockburn Township is heartbroken from the devastating loss of a highly regarded community member in a heartbreaking incident on a rual road.

James Hendra, a well-known figure at the age of 50, met an untimely demise in a fatal accident that occurred on Clyde Hill Rd last Saturday.

Affectionately known as “Jimmy” by locals, he tragically lost his life at the crash site when his car collided with a tree.

Mr. Hendra was the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle involved.

Paramedics discovered Mr. Hendra inside the car around 7:05 am on June 17, but sadly, his injuries were fatal.

The exact circumstances leading to the crash have yet to be established, and ongoing investigations are underway,” stated a police spokesperson.
