Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives seek public assistance in connection with two recent burglaries in Little River.

During the initial incident, believed to have occurred between New Year’s Day and January 2nd, perpetrators forcefully entered a residence on Narraburra Road.

The culprits broke a window for access, proceeded to ransack the dwelling, punching holes in the walls, and making off with keys for three trucks parked on the premises.

The stolen vehicles include a white MAN prime mover (Victorian registration XV42ZX), a white DAF truck (New South Wales registration XN42YZ), and a white Volvo prime mover (Tasmanian registration C00AY). Additionally, a truck trailer with Victorian registration XV42ZX was taken.

Detectives are exploring potential links between this burglary and another incident during the same timeframe at a rural property on Boadles Lane.

In the latter case, intruders entered the home, conducted a thorough search, and absconded with a safe containing six registered firearms.

The burglars also rifled through the fireplaces in both residences before departing.

Images of the stolen trucks and trailer have been released by investigators, who hope that individuals with information will come forward.

The stolen firearms comprise an Emerald, Adler, and Stirling shotgun, a Sturm Ruger 22, a Norica air rifle, and a Savage rifle.

Individuals possessing information or relevant CCTV footage are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or submit a report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
