CAUTION: BAD LANGUAGE WARNING

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) and the Police responded to an incident on Princess Highway in Corio at 8:46 pm.

Upon their arrival, the police discovered a male individual attempting to break into an ATM in an apparent effort to steal money.

During the process, he also caused significant damage to the store.

As the individual triggered the ATM’s security mechanism, a smoke cloud billowed out, alerting the service station attendant to what he was up to.

FRV personnel initiated an investigation and employed a fan to disperse the smoke.

Subsequently, the police took the male suspect into custody.

Interestingly, while being transported in the police car, the suspect appeared surprisingly happy, even singing along during the police car ride.
