Police have arrested two people following a stabbing in Norlane on Sunday, 21 January.
Officers were told a woman allegedly poured acid into a car in Alkira Avenue about 4.30pm.
The occupant inside the car, a 23-year-old Norlane woman, sustained an injury and was treated by Ambulance Victoria on scene.
It is understood two men were in a physical altercation before one of the men sustained a stab wound.
A 20-year-old Waurn Ponds man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old Corio man and a 21-year-old Norlane woman were arrested at the scene and are assisting police with their enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
